Members Only Briefing
Wednesday, September 16, 2020 | 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to permanent changes in how we live and work, bringing the construction industry to halt, forcing shutdowns across the region. As jobsites sat empty, NECA contractors continued to navigate their businesses, workforce and customer relationships through the uncertainty. Simultaneously the IBEW Locals, the Trust Funds office, JATC and NECA remained steady, fielding questions, making reactive decisions and keeping the members and participants of our organizations informed.
This virtual members only event will provide NECA Boston Chapter with updated employment numbers, and a tailored overview of how COVID-19 has economically impacted the electrical contracting community and construction industry. We will also review our new website, receive an update on the apprenticeship program/trust fund update and present our 75- and 50-year plaques.
