NECA Boston & IBEW Local 103 Foreman Training Program
NECA Boston and IBEW Local 103 Foreman Training Program three-day intensive program provides foremen with the skills and insight they need to manage a broad range of issues that they face on the job. Some key areas include: managing production and materials, communication and documentation, project closeout and safety. This training advances a foreman’s career in the electrical industry and is required by the current Collective Bargaining Agreement between NECA Boston and IBEW Local 103.

NECA National offers a wide range of on-demand online training classes on topics ranging from writing for business to Microsoft Office to project management.
ELECTRI International is The Foundation for Electrical Construction established by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). It provides funding, conducting, coordinating and transforming research results into meaningful, useful educational and consulting programs and practical publications for electrical contractors.
This research aims to strengthen the fabric of the electrical industry through the development of information which will positively affect the future of the electrical industry and its service to the public. By virtue of its $100,000 commitment to the Foundation, the Boston Chapter sits on the policy making Electri21 Council. All Foundation research publications are available to Association members at no cost.

NECA Boston– Empowering The Next Generation of the Electrical Construction Industry
For many years, NECA Boston has worked with Wentworth Institute of Technology to form a lasting and productive relationship with its students through NECA Boston’s Student Chapter.
Wentworth and NECA Boston Chapter have proudly built a strong and ever-evolving partnership through the development of the NECA/WIT Student Chapter along with NECA’s Annual Wentworth Scholarship program and the NECA contractors who are involved in the Wentworth community as alumni, Board Members and in offering internship opportunities to Wentworth students.
As members of the student chapter, students meet with and learn from industry professionals about the electrical industry, interact with local NECA contractors at various industry events and explore career opportunities in electrical construction.
