Since taking office last month, President Trump has issued numerous directives on his priorities and the effects will be felt by our industry. Specifically,

• Higher costs for essential materials (copper wiring, transformers, electrical panels).
• Supply chain disruptions could delay projects.
• Fixed-price contracts may lead to financial strain.
• Domestic suppliers may not meet demand, further raising prices.
• Suspended funding could delay projects in transportation, broadband, and climate initiatives.
• Contractors working on federally funded projects face workforce uncertainty and supply chain issues.
• Possible violations of the Prompt Payment Act if federal agencies delay payments.
