At summer’s end and with fall around the corner, it’s the season of transitions. This month’s newsletter celebrates legacy and next chapters, beginning with our Contractor Spotlight, Bent Electrical Contractors. After 40 years, founder Tom Bent retires, passing the torch to new leadership. The leadership team honors Bent’s achievements and discusses the shop’s longstanding partnership with Harvard University.

On the national stage, congratulations to another NECA Boston member, McDonald Electrical Corporation, winner of a 2025 Project Excellence Award for their outstanding work on Northeastern University’s EXP project.

On the education and training front, NECA Boston’s 2025–2026 Education Brochure is now live, showcasing a fresh slate of robust programs—both in-person and virtual—to support professional growth for our members and their teams. Check out the link in the article below.

Thank you to all who joined us at the Annual Golf Classic, a day of camaraderie and fundraising to benefit the Francis C. Angino Scholarship Fund. We’re also proud to announce this year’s scholarship recipients, six outstanding members of our industry workforce furthering their education.

Together, NECA Boston members are moving forward, carrying the best of our values and successes and building on the foundation for an exciting new era.
