Next-Gen Fly Over, Washington DC
Brad McClusky of EG Sawyer and Walter Morrell our Director of Education and Outreach attended the Next-Gen Fly over in Washington DC earlier this month. They were joined by NECA Contractors from across the country and the NECA Government Affairs team for a packed two days of education and meetings on the hill. The team meet with senators and congress men and woman from Massachusetts to discuss some of the challenges our contractors are facing. It was a great opportunity to educate them on the LEAP Act, the effect of cooper tariffs on our industry and permitting reform which would help with the timelines of projects. It was great to see and talk with Representative Stephen Lynch an ally of the trades and a big supporter of the apprenticeship model. This was a great opportunity to highlight our industry and promote the great work NECA contractors are doing across the industry.
