August 15, 2020 – NECA Boston Chapter proudly welcomes A. Comer Electrical Services, Inc., as a new Chapter member. Based in Marshfield, MA, A. Comer Electrical was founded in October 2019 by its president, Daniel Comer and owner Alecia Comer.
The electrical contractor provides a broad array of electrical construction services for commercial projects throughout eastern Massachusetts, including electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, tel/data systems, security systems, and solar PV installations.
A. Comer Electrical’s diverse current and recent projects include: the MBTA electrical and lighting project at JFK UMASS Station; ground-up electrical construction of the Carhartt store at South Bay Shopping Center; Coach store at Burlington Mall; a new USPS office location on First Street in Cambridge; the USPS renovation at the State House; Chiller Replacement projects at BU and BC; and a 7.2MW solar project in Blandford, MA.
Alecia Comer has a background in finance and has formerly served as a controller for a prominent New England construction industry company. She is A. Comer Electrical’s office manager and runs day-to-day operations. Dan Comer has extensive experience in Boston’s union electrical industry. He is a journeyman electrician, having trained through the Greater Boston JATC. He formerly worked as an electrician and foreman for his father’s firm, James Comer Electrical Services, as well as for City Lights Electrical.
In joining NECA, Dan Comer said, “NECA Boston Chapter’s industry-leading extensive educational programs can keep our company up-to-date with the constantly evolving electrical industry and help enhance our operations.
