We were joined by a great group of NECA Boston Contractors in Chicago for the 2205 NECA National Convention and Trade Show this September. It was a great atmosphere and filled with educational content and networking opportunities with old and new friends from across the industry. Our chapter also had a lot to celebrate as Mike McDonald of McDonald Electrical Corp. was sworn in as Vice President of District One. Becoming Vice President of District One is an integral leadership position within NECA’s national governance structure. Mike will serve as the voice of the contractors across D1 and have a key seat at the executive table of NECA National. As part of this prestigious role, he is eligible for induction into the Academy of Electrical Contracting, where outstanding leaders in the electrical contracting industry have been honored since 1968. Lastly, McDonald Electrical has won a Project Excellence Award at this year’s Convention. We want to thank everyone that joined us again this year and your continued efforts to grow our industry.
