This month, NECA Greater Boston alongside IBEW Local 103 testified before the Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies in support of Governor Healey's Mass Wins Act, the Governor's comprehensive economic development proposal for the Commonwealth.
Chapter Manager Kristen Gowin delivered testimony highlighting the bill's emphasis on housing production, grid modernization, infrastructure readiness, and emerging energy technologies — all areas where NECA contractors and our skilled IBEW workforce deliver every day. Gowin underscored that responsible construction, workforce quality, and economic competitiveness are not competing priorities, but complementary strengths that set Massachusetts apart.
