Two milestones, one mission: Building Careers that Power Our Region
This month, NECA Boston & IBEW Local 103 proudly celebrated the graduation of 273 JATC apprentices, electricians and technicians who put in the hours and are now stepping into our industry as fully trained journeymen.
We were honored to be joined by Governor Maura Healey and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll, who took the stage to congratulate this incredible class of graduates and recognize the vital role the electrical trades play in powering Massachusetts' future from clean energy to housing to infrastructure.
And the momentum doesn't stop there. This month, we're also welcoming our first cohort of the 2026 incoming apprentice class of more than 230 new electrical and telecommunications apprentices. From day one in the classroom to years on the job site, this new class represents the next generation of safe and highly trained professionals who will keep Massachusetts running.
