Important Retirement Provisions Update the Focus of Upcoming Zoom Membership Meeting
Your NECA Chapter will be hosting a virtual membership meeting on July 1 at 10 AM to provide an overview of recent updates made by the IBEW Local 103 Pension Fund Trustees. These temporary adjustments are intended to help address current workforce dynamics and support future planning efforts across the industry.
The changes, thoroughly reviewed by the Fund’s actuary and legal counsel, offer eligible participants enhanced flexibility around retirement, including adjusted age thresholds, a financial incentive, and modified eligibility criteria for retiree benefits. These provisions will be in effect for a limited one-year period beginning November 1, 2025.
