Earlier this month, NECA Boston joined IBEW partners from Locals 103, 490, 567, and 1253 at the IBEW Progress Meeting, bringing together leaders from across the Second District under the leadership of International Vice President Mike Monahan.
The meeting focused on the importance of collaboration in expanding workforce opportunities and supporting the region's growing energy and infrastructure needs. Attendees heard from industry leaders, including representatives from ISO New England, Avangrid, Central Maine Power, Eversource, and National Grid, who shared insights on grid planning, transmission development, and the future of New England's energy landscape.
The event reinforced the strong partnership between IBEW and NECA and the shared commitment to creating opportunities for our workforce while advancing critical projects throughout the region.
