Secretary Paley Tours JATC Greater Boston Training Center
NECA Boston and IBEW Local 103 were pleased to welcome Secretary of Economic Development Eric Paley and Undersecretary Layla D'Emilia to the JATC of Greater Boston Training Center for a firsthand look at the workforce development partnership that is powering the Commonwealth.
During the visit, Secretary Paley and Undersecretary D'Emilia toured the state-of-the-art training facility and learned how the NECA/IBEW partnership is preparing the next generation of electricians through industry-leading apprenticeship, continuing education, and innovative training programs.
The visit highlighted the critical role NECA electrical contractors and the highly skilled IBEW workforce play in strengthening Massachusetts' economy by delivering the workforce needed to build the Commonwealth's housing, energy, transportation, healthcare, and technology infrastructure.
We appreciate Secretary Paley and Undersecretary D'Emilia for taking the time to see firsthand how the NECA/IBEW partnership is developing a world-class workforce and driving innovation across Massachusetts.
