NECA Boston Joins District 1 & 2 Council Meeting in Buffalo, NY
This month, NECA Boston was proud to be in Buffalo, New York, the birthplace of NECA, where the National Electrical Contractors Association was founded at the Pan-American Exposition in 1901. NECA Boston Governor Kathy Guinee of Aetna Fire Alarm and Executive Manager Kristen Gowin represented the Chapter at the combined NECA District 1 and District 2 Council Meeting, connecting with fellow NECA leaders and hearing updates on national initiatives impacting contractors.
District Council meetings provide an important forum for Chapter leaders to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas and ensure the priorities of contractors throughout our region are represented within NECA National. NECA Boston is especially proud that Mike McDonald of McDonald Electrical Corporation serves as NECA District 1 Vice President, representing District 1 Chapters at the national level and serving on NECA’s Executive Committee.
