NECA Boston Visits Modular Power Solutions and Rosendin
NECA Boston contractors and IBEW Local 103 partners recently visited Modular Power Solutions (MPS) and Rosendin, a nearly $10 billion company for a firsthand look at their operations and conversations about the future of electrical construction.
The visit highlighted how NECA contractors are becoming innovators and manufacturers, successfully industrializing the way we build. With tremendous growth in data centers, energy and other markets, MPS and Rosendin demonstrate how strong culture, consistency and innovation can turn industry challenges into opportunities.
A quote displayed in their offices from The Art of War captured the visit well: “In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity.”
Helping contractors navigate these changes is ELECTRI International, NECA’s research and development arm. Under the leadership of Josh Bone, ELECTRI is doing transformative work by bringing contractors together to openly discuss challenges, share successes and learn from one another helping elevate the entire electrical contracting industry.
A quick trip filled with valuable lessons, great conversations and plenty to bring home to Boston. Special thanks to David Elkins, Simon Harkins, P.E., ATD, and the MPS and Rosendin teams for opening their doors and sharing their experiences.
