On January 14, NECA Boston hosted its Annual Membership Meeting at BC High School, welcoming a packed house of NECA contractors. The event celebrated the accomplishments of outgoing President Kathy Guinee of Aetna Fire Alarm and featured remarks from NECA’s new President, John McLaughlin of Sully-Mac, who shared his vision for NECA in 2026 and beyond.
Members voted on and approved the new board and committee appointments, including the exciting announcement of NECA Boston’s new Industry Executive Committee, which will help foster the next generation of leaders within our association.
Executive Manager Kristen Gowin highlighted major wins from 2025 and outlined plans for 2026, centered around the theme “Building Beyond the Moment.” These achievements and goals are detailed in the NECA Boston Annual Report: 2025 Review with a Look Ahead to 2026.
During the meeting we also hosted a panel discussion on how to better position our members to win more work in the neighborhoods of Boston. We were joined by industry insiders who provided insight into the benefits of being part of the community you live in and how those interactions will help foster relationships to help grow your business. We look forward an exciting 2026 and working with all our NECA Contractors.
